AFTERCARE
We have done our part | Now you do yours
If you received second skin after your tattoo: leave on for 2-5 days.
When removing, do so under cool running water. Start peeling from a corner, letting the water run on it as you slowly pull it off.
If you start to notice any redness, bumps, irritation, swelling, or severe itching, you may be having a reaction to the adhesive. Remove immediately.
Once removed, wash with fagrance free antibacterial soap. Lather it well, to help remove the adhesive. Do not scrub, but gently massage with fingers, and pat dry with a paper towel.
If you did not receive second skin, leave plastic wrapping on for up to 24 hours. Once removed, gently clean with fragrance-free antibacterial soap.
24 hours after removing your second skin or plastic wrapping, you can apply a very thin layer of non-scented lotion. Continue to apply twice a day for the next two weeks.
You may continue to shower as normal, but refrain from scrubbing or using wash cloths or loofas on your new tattoo.
NO baths, hot tubs, saunas, or swimming or soaking the tattoo of any kind for 2-3 weeks.
DO NOT scratch or pick at your tattoo when it starts to itch. Itching is normal.
DO NOT expose your healing tattoo to tanning beds or prolonged sun exposure.
NEVER touch your fresh tattoo with dirty hands or allow others to touch your new tattoo while it’s healing.
Protect your new tattoo from rubbing against rough clothing while healing.
Your tattoo will be fully healed after 3-4 weeks. For best long-term results, continue to moisturize regularly and apply an SPF before going out in the sun.
